X-INDUSTECH Receives TÜV Rheinland Product Carbon Footprint Statements Under ISO 14067 for Key Reusable Packaging Lines
Jan 16,2026 | X-INDUSTECH
X-INDUSTECH announced that two of its core reusable packaging products—our QN-Series stackable, collapsible logistics crates and coaming box solutions—have received Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) Statements issued by TÜV Rheinland, based on ISO 14067:2018.

These statements provide product-level greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions data using a recognized international methodology and a clearly defined assessment boundary. For customers, this is a practical step toward greater supply-chain transparency—supporting procurement decisions, internal sustainability reporting, and packaging optimization programs that prioritize both performance and carbon accountability.
What the statements cover
The PCF results are reported under a “Cradle-to-Gate” boundary, meaning the calculations reflect emissions from raw material sourcing and manufacturing through the point the product leaves the factory. Results are expressed per a declared unit of 1 kg of product, enabling consistent, apples-to-apples comparisons across materials and packaging options.
Reported GHG emission data (Cradle-to-Gate, per 1 kg of product)
-
QN-Series Automotive Parts Stackable Collapsible Plastic Logistics Crates: 4.27 kg CO₂e (Report No. CN250VCO 001)
-
Coaming Box: 4.35 kg CO₂e (Report No. CN25KGAY 001)
Both statements reference data covering January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2024, and apply a defined cut-off rule consistent with the statement parameters.
Why this matters for manufacturers and logistics operators
Reusable packaging is often selected for durability and operational efficiency—but buyers increasingly require credible, standardized carbon data as well. By publishing ISO-aligned carbon footprint statements for key product lines, X-INDUSTECH helps customers strengthen packaging specifications, evaluate alternatives more confidently, and support carbon-related disclosures tied to purchased goods and packaging materials.
A broader commitment to measurable sustainability
X-INDUSTECH continues to invest in reusable packaging loops and lifecycle services—including custom design, sales, leasing, maintenance, used-container programs, and recycling—to help customers reduce total cost of ownership while extending asset life and minimizing waste. Our long-term roadmap includes expanding PCF coverage across additional product families and advancing low-carbon manufacturing practices across our supply network.
